Mr. & Mrs. Harmon | Wedding

November 21, 2014  •  1 Comment

So this year, I have felt like I have predominantly shot outdoor country style weddings. Although, there is nothing wrong with those and I truly enjoy doing them, I was really excited to mix it up with a wedding at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. I was most excited to shoot in a location where it would take more than just using natural light to make the photos pop. It certainly doesn't hurt that I have an awesome camera with a lens that can shoot in extremely low light, but there's something to lighting a subject when there is none. It is one of the many reasons that I love photography so much. I love a challenge! It also helps to have a great team around you. My second shooter for this wedding was Renee from Renee Hollingshead, who is always such a pleasure to work with. I also met a very cool videographer, Tom from In Depth Video and I highly recommend him. The Walters Art Museum also has a great event coordinator by the name of Heather, that made things move so smoothly throughout the evening.

Now, about Bridget & Matt. What a couple! What a DAY! They started at the Renaissance Harborplace in downtown Baltimore. It was wonderful to meet all of their family & friends. Since the couple opted out of a first look, we had to make every minute count for portraits. Renee was such a huge help with taking great shots of the fellah's and I focused on Bridgette and her maids. No detail was spared for their big day...everything was simply perfect. The location was exquisite and the food...decadent. Thank you again for choosing me & I wish you both the very best!
